The Human Approach
Human Approach provides therapy and support services for people of all ages in Melbourne, regional Victoria, and beyond.
Life has its ups and downs. Everyone can use some extra assistance at times, to make sense of the next steps, understand each other and clarify the support available in the community.
Our team of social workers, art therapists and psychologists will work with you to build trust and explore together your needs and priorities. As a team, we take the time to listen, understand what matters most to you, and provide a tailored service at your pace. We will work together on themes that matter in your life.
At Human Approach we provide clarity around the life you want to create and assist you to put this in place.
Therapy Services
Human Approach therapists provide a supportive environment to work with you on making sense of your experience of life, relationships and goals that you might have. The Human Approach team works with young people and adults adapting to life transitions to create a great life. Human Approach offers an attuned, trauma-sensitive and family-inclusive approach that is completely respectful.
Human Approach supports wellbeing, by working with you:
As an individual requiring support for yourself
As a family member or support person
As a couple or family group
Care Coordination
Some families engage with multiple service systems in support of their family member with significant and often co-occurring needs. Some of the support coordination work carried out regularly by the Human Approach team includes working together with you to:
Consider, and access, support services you need and prefer
Maintain regular communication with your professionals and service providers
Ensure you are happy with your support service providers – and helping to resolve issues that may arise
Prepare and coordinate collation of reports for the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA)
